Project Overview

This project involves the removal of approximately 976 square feet of existing hardwood flooring, followed by the installation of new unfinished 4-inch Red Oak hardwood flooring. The scope includes subfloor preparation, moisture barrier installation, a custom herringbone feature, sanding, staining, finishing, and refinishing of 12 stair treads to create a seamless and long-lasting hardwood flooring system.

Scope of Work

The project begins with the removal and disposal of the existing hardwood flooring, including all necessary site preparation to ensure the space is ready for the new installation.

The subfloor will be inspected, reinforced, and prepared as needed before installing a moisture barrier underlayment to improve the performance and longevity of the flooring.

New unfinished 4-inch Red Oak hardwood flooring will be professionally installed using a secure fastening method. The project also includes the installation of a custom Red Oak herringbone section, creating a unique architectural feature within the floor.
